Club/training rides ...
The Team Tor 2000 organises various training/club rides throughout the year. The training/club rides are of varying distances/difficulties, depending on numbers the ride maybe split into ability groups. With most of the rides you do not need to be a member of the Team Tor 2000 to join in. Ride details will be posted on the Calendar plus the notice board. It is always worth looking out on the notice board to see if any other rider is going out or alternatively if you are going out post a note
Closed Road Bunch Training (Weekly from April to Sept) ...
Organised by the 'Taunton Vale Cycle Assocaition (TVCRA), which Team Tor 2000 is a member. For a small annual fee this enable riders to experience bunch riding on closed roads or skills training (This is strongly advised if you are new to bunch riding). These sessions are held Merryfield Airfield in Ilton, which is between Yeovil and Taunton. The circuit is approx 3.5 miles long and is flat, though it can be windy. There is usually 30-60 riders of varying ability from clubs/teams in the Taunton/Yeovil area.
Junior/youth Tor ...
To develop the up and coming riders the club has it own section dedicated to under 12's. The club is working on a program for 12 and overs. Even though this is not fully in place the there are still opertunities within the club if you are this age.

Racing against the clock. The club both organises and has riders participating in TT's

Track ...
Various track sessions are booked throughout the year. Team Tor 2000 uses either the newly built Newport Velodrome or Calshot velodrome near Southampton. The sessions are cater for all abilities and use fully qualified BC track accredited coaches. Look out on the notice board or calendar page for details of the next session.
Others ...
Even though Team Tor 2000 is a road race/time trial bias club there are members participating in triathlon and MTBing. The club provides the oppertunity to do some social miles or give the riders access to race other disciplines such as time trial. And of course the club has no objection to completing in its colours

Chaingang (Winter months Only)...
From Autumn to early spring Team Tor 2000 organise a weekly chaingang (Group training ride). This takes place on a Tuesday night, meet at B&Q carpark, Glastonbury, at 7pm. It is at a moderate pace around a well lit road circuit. Lights are a must, also bright clothing, helmets are recommended. The 4.5 mile circuit it allows riders to join in the bunch late (pass B&Q every lap) or if they get dropped they can cut across the town to join back up.
